I just won a 40gb Ipod for £16.00 in one of the Guardian charity Christmas auctions! I don’t know why, but I was convinced I had won from the moment I sent off my five little bids on 27 December and I’ve been checking my gmail every day ever since.

Well done Petite! I was also going to say that I didn’t know you could get Ipods for 40 quid, then someone pointed out you had said not GBP, but GB, meaning ‘Gigabytes’. Now if someone could just explain to me what ‘Gigabytes’ are when they are at home, I will be right up with you.
