I’ve been reading your blog for over a year and…
I was there,on that saturday morning, waiting for you to come out of the town hall, thinking of all your readers over the world who would have liked to share this moment.
It was strange, like in a kind of movie with characters suddenly becoming real.
The “chignon” was perfect as well as the stilettos quite matching the dress, you were really gorgeous
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Christine, the fifty something who wished you a lot of happiness, but I’m not sure you will remember me…
Congratulations! You look absolutly radiant. The dress is gorgeous and your hair looks fantastic. Scary hairdresser from hell did areally good job!
The Boy looks incredibly smug, which is as it should be, since he just bagged himself the wonderful Petite!
Thank you for sharing the wedding photo. It looks like you got your white Yorkshire roses, with a splash of red for those shoes we are all dying to see (…when you have time, of course!). The Boy has a good soul – pictures never lie.
Congratulations and best wishes for a wonderful life as a threesome (for starters).
I saw your photo over on Steve’s flickr stream and have to say that you look so happy! Boy is such a handsome fellow. Here’s to wish you happiness in the future. Hope you can come and stop into the tea house sometime, I have your book on the shelf. Would love to get an autograph from you.
awww, what a lovely picture! i just recently finished your book, catherine, and loved the daring, open ending. and now, somehow coming back to your blog and seeing this photo… makes me want to believe in happy endings again : )
congratulations to you both, you make a beautiful couple!
Thank you for posting the picture and the comments. (Which made a bit teary, but teary in the happy way.) It is hard to find words to describe the joys of commitment to marriage, but I think the picture you posted captures all the love, hope, enchantment, emotion that loving couples feel.
You both were gorgeous, (OK, I thought you were more so, but I am prejudiced) and the one picture I found on the Internet of Tadpole’s back showed her to be prettily decked out appropriate to her position as Princess in Waiting.
Hubby and I celebrated our 37th anniversary last week. Hope you dears do the same one day.
Did those gorgeous shoes hurt, or were you too happy to notice?
fantastic dress! very elegant! you look gorgeous, would love to see more pics! and the boy is very cute! and not as young as you made him out to be lol, he’s got grey hairs. you make a great looking couple, good luck to you both!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing the photos. Well done on not going the whole hog with the Moschino catwalk birdsnest/Peebles hairdo, sleek looks chic-er ! Everyone looks great, really happy. Keep us posted on further good news to come !
A bit belated here, but I just wanted to pop by to wish you all the very best! The photos are great, everything looks perfect in every way… Your dress, your hair, the shoes, and of course, most importantly, your SMILES! Such happiness and warmth — I’m so happy for you! :-)
Omg – you look so beautiful and your husband so handsome! Congratulations to you both and to Tadpole as well – her mommy looks very happy and that is one of the few requirements that all children really need! Best wishes always!!

What a catty remark….
Carrie is obviously not blessed with the most pleasant of dispositions
You look very happy, congratulations! I just finished readng your book, which I really enjoyed.
I just moved to Paris last night – near Belleville metro. It’s very daunting, I can’t understand much french…I hope I will pick up a bit more soon. I’m doing an intensive french course, but at the moment I have all these irrational fears about saying anything in French. There is so much more in my head than I can express – I just process the language too slowly.
This is the first time I’ve read your blog, and when I saw ‘le mariage’ post, I was hoping it was Mr Frog. What happened to him? I had a soft spot for him when reading the book.
