Obviously, kids notice that *most* past tense in English adds an ‘-ed’ ending. So, that overgeneralize, and, at certain stages of their language development, they assign every verb an ‘-ed’ ending. It’s quite fascinating actually. (I’m a linguist…can you tell? =) ) Enjoy those moments! She sounds like such a doll.
