I was suspended too because of my blog, accused of bringing my employers into disrepute and of breach of confidentility. I was in total shock, simply couldn’t believe they could have interpreted anything I wrote in such a light. Like you, I thought ‘gross misconduct’ meant at the very least allowing a child in my care to be abused, but apparently not.

It was simply horrendous but after six weeks I did get my job back. All is not lost.

And if you don’t get your job back, you will surely win for unfair dismissal.
