Wordsworth evoked the idea a long time ago -
“Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”
and
“Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.”
etc., etc., in his poem I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud, which many of you must have learnt at school(?).
